Tekweld’s Ray Rodriguez Steps Down as VP of Sales and Marketing

Ray Rodriguez, a 35-year-plus veteran of the promotional and premium industry announced he is stepping down from his position of vice president of sales and marketing for Tekweld, Hauppage, NY. Rodriguez will be pursuing new personal and business projects he is passionate about.

“I couldn’t have picked a better company than Tekweld to represent at this stage of my promotional products career,” Rodriguez says. “Taylor Tadmore, the owner, gave me free rein to take the company to the next level, and I’ve been happy to be part of their explosive growth over the last seven years.”

Rodriguez started his career in the promotional industry with the BIC Corporation. Once he left BIC, Rodriguez started Multiline Marketing group, an independent national multi-line representative group with 15 direct employee regional managers and five internal support personnel.

He has represented and been successful with suppliers such as BIC, Evans, Pioneer Balloon, Maple Ridge Farms, Gordon Sinclair, and Tekweld. He has been recognized by PPAI as one of its inaugural Industry Fellows.

“Ray has brought an energy and a level of sales and marketing expertise to Tekweld that has ben instrumental in helping us grow the company and become a top 40 supplier,” Tadmor says. “I wish Ray the best in his new endeavors, and thank him for his contributions to our growth.”

Rodriguez plans on pursuing working with underprivileged kids while staying plugged into the industry.

“I love this business and can’t fully get out,” he says. “Thank you to my Tekweld and promotional industry family who have contributed to my career path in this incredible business.
